I co-founded the cross-Nordic performing arts collective BRAVO TOGA and have been fundraising, producing, and creating performances in the independent scene since 2015. With extensive international touring experience, I have also been part of several cross-sectorial projects that combine practice and theory. In 2019, I performed in the Reumert award-winning production by SIGNA. My work has been supported by all major arts funding programmes in Sweden, Denmark, and the Nordics, alongside several private, municipal, and regional funds. During my MFA in directing at the Danish National School of Performing Arts, I conducted a two-year-long Artistic Research project. Efter utsålda föreställningar på Sydhavn Teater &amp; CPH Stage i både 2024 och 2026 besöker den fiktiva aktivistiska grupp NNP till Stockholm, för att “öppna en svensk filial” och ta temperaturen på den svenska aktivismens anda, anno 2026. Efterdyningarna av klimatkrisens uppvaknande har blivit vardag, fjärde vågens feminism har klingat av och även Gen Z är hopplösa. Greta Thunberg 2.0 har mindre talrum än förut och aktivistiska avhoppare går i sorgterapi. Vad fan gör vi nu? Vad gör NNP när de försöker att både omfamna klimatkrisen, antikapitalismen och dekolonialismen? För vad innebär det att praktisera det man predikar? Och hur balanserar en intersektionell grupp, med dålig ekonomi och höga ambitioner, att både omfamna polestången och varandras motstridande behov? Om gruppen, sammanhållningen och allt det (strul) som händer människor emellan när de ska samsas. ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE NEW NORDIC POLING - A RECRUITMENT MEETING New Nordic Poling (NNP) is a movement of eight activist pole dancers who “poles 4 change”. The performance unfolds at NNP’s annual recruitment meeting, where their documentary Radical Embrace is shown. The audience follows the movement as they create banners, challenge Extinction Rebellion on May 1st in Copenhagen’s Sydhavn, and travel to Svalbard to “Pole 4 the melting pole” with their new portable pole. In an intimate, mildly interactive setup - blending live action with film screening - the audience follows NNP’s highs and lows. NNP investigates power structures and plans happenings, but faces unexpected challenges of activist group work. What does it mean to practice what you preach? And how does a group become a movement? I denna föreställning görs det av Vindjägarna – två vänner som vill fånga vinden och försöka förstå dess nyckfullheter. Vännerna möts på en lekplats och förvandlar klätterställningen till ett vindlaboratorium. I ställningen hänger, svänger och snurrar de till ljudet av rytmiska vindpustar, buller och brak. Hur känns vinden mot min kropp? Hur smakar den? Vad gör den med mitt humör?
